Talk with Stefan Vermeent

Fifth-year PhD student, Stefan Vermeent, is visiting from Willem Frankenhuis' lab in the Netherlands. He has agreed to give a talk for the SPARK lab and the Stanford Center on Early Childhood. Stefan will talk about some of this recent work applying computational models to decompose the cognitive processes underlying executive function in developmental samples, and how such methods allow us to better understand how adversity adaptively shapes these processes. He is also dedicated to open science and may discuss how he applies those principles to his work.
