Bellingham families struggle with child care costs as expenses skyrocket for providers
"...in partnership with Stanford University’s RAPID Survey Project, Whatcom County Health and Community Services surveyed more than 600 caregivers of children under age 6. Families said they love raising their children in this community but that affordability, housing instability and lack of developmental support pose major challenges."
