Stanford FIND brings its responsive professional development to Brella
Stanford FIND (Filming Interactions to Nurture Development) is bringing its research-backed educator training to Brella, a southern California-based early learning program serving children from infancy through preschool.
FIND will deliver professional development to Brella educators through FIND Foundations courses and a new self-paced online coaching pathway. These trainings are designed to strengthen responsive interactions between adults and children, both in early learning settings and among families.
Brella offers play-based, developmentally grounded programming plus flexible scheduling for families. The program also supports families through classes, workshops, and community programming.
Educators will learn FIND strategies rooted in brain science that support communication, prosocial behavior, and strong relationships. Brella’s investment in its educators will create more meaningful moments of connection with children, and benefits that extend far beyond the classroom.
This work reflects FIND’s vision to scale responsive caregiving through accessible, effective learning pathways for early childhood educators, family-facing professionals, and caregivers. Since its inception, FIND has worked towards a world where responsive interactions are foundational to early care and education, supported by technology, data-informed learning pathways, and partnerships.
“When educators feel supported, children benefit,” said Dr. Phllip Fisher, director of the Stanford Center on Early Childhood and developer of Stanford FIND. “Through this collaboration, Brella educators will see the powerful ways their everyday interactions support children’s learning and development.”
